Country Road Dress, $199

A painterly dress that begs to be worn for lunch in the sun, preferably by the ocean.

Aside from the super flattering fit, we love the elasticated waistband with adjustable ties on it, making it easy to loosen or tighten this one at the waist if needed. Wear the sleeves rolled up at the elbow or full length.

Max dress, $160

The ruffles around the arms and the high neckline of this one are lovely. Max suggests wearing this one with a denim jacket and trainers in the daytime, swapping them out for leather and heels after dark. One note: This beauty is sheer, so wear a slip underneath.

Gorman dress, $109 (sale)

A warm weather hero made from organic cotton poplin, this shirt dress has adjustable waist ties, hello airflow. Undo the collar and the front button placket for more breathability.

Zara dress, $109

A retro leaf pattern is a great floral alternative for people who find florals a little too delicate or feminine. The double O-ring buckle and refreshing lime color of this Zara dress complement the 70s details. Wear with thigh high boots as the season heats up, then swap with a pair of cork wedge heels.

Augustine dress, $190

The square neckline, the vibrant teal color and watercolor print, the puff sleeves, there’s so much detail in this smocked Augustine number.

Witchcraft robe, $90 (on sale)

With its gathered cuffs, blouson sleeves and elegantly layered skirt, you can totally see Kate Middleton wearing this dress. A great option to wear to a wedding.

Seed Heritage Dress, $190

This floral pattern is almost wrong in paisley, especially with brown and orange shades. A-line midi dress with fashionable cutouts formed by a bow on the front to match the deep V-neck. This option is wonderfully voluminous but the sleeves balance out the trapeze shape of the dress.
