Kate Middleton wears the Queen’s choker and hat for the monarch’s funeral

The Princess of Wales assisted of Queen Elizabeth II funeral on Monday alongside her family, elegant in a beautiful black dress. She added a wide-brimmed hat complemented by a subtle veil.

The mother-of-three also added a stunning pearl necklace that once belonged to the Queen. She was joined by her husband on Prince of Wales, who looked smart in his military uniform. The princess looked calm as she entered the abbey with her family.

Princess Kate styled her silky hair in a super sleek hairstyle. She opted for sophisticated makeup, with a velvety complexion, a flutter of mascara, a natural lip and a touch of blush.

That of the royal the mourning veil and hat were in keeping with traditional royal funeral dress codes. The mourning veil is both symbolic and practical as it is worn by those who are in the process of mourning a loved one. They are usually made from lace, tulle or fine netting that allows a person to see through.

Kate wore the same necklace in 2021 at the funeral of the Queen’s husband, Prince Philip.

The Queen’s state funeral was held at Westminster Abbey in central London. The Queen’s coffin was carried on a cannon carriage to the Abbey, pulled by naval ratings (sailors) using ropes.

The TV service, which included a two-minute nationwide silence, saw King Charles and senior members of the Royal Family following behind the coffin.

After the funeral, The Queen’s coffin will be taken to St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle for a televised service.

A private burial service with senior members of the Royal Family will take place later in the evening.

The King George VI Memorial Chapel, an annex to the Main Chapel, will be the Queen’s final resting place. This is where his mother and father were buried, and this is where the ashes of his sister, Princess Margaret, lie.
