Gebr. Heinemann opens the world’s first A|X Armani Exchange pop-up store

Gebr. Heinemann opened the world’s first pop-up A|X Armani Exchange store at Copenhagen Airport on July 5. This is A|X Armani Exchange’s very first global Travel Retail exchange.

The pop-up store operated by Gebr. Heinemann is located at Copenhagen Airport in Terminal 3 directly on the footpath and will be open until the beginning of January 2023. In the 30 square meter space, travelers will find clothing and accessories for men and women from the collection from A |X Armani Exchange, from shopping bags and baseball caps, dresses and skirts to jackets, pants and sneakers. A fall and winter collection will follow.

A|X Armani Exchange, the brand launched in 1991, rewrites urban dress codes, introducing the values of the Armani universe to a younger audience. In 2017, following the reorganization of the brand portfolio, A|X Armani Exchange becomes one of the three main brands of the Armani group.

An exclusive shopping experience like never before

“We are thrilled to surprise our passengers with the first-ever A|X Armani Exchange pop-up store at an airport,” says Katrin Bamler, Managing Director Gebr. Heinemann Retail Denmark.

“Thanks to our close and trust-based cooperation with Copenhagen Airport, it is always possible for us to inspire passengers with new offers. This is how we turn their travel time into valuable time – the core of our vision of the mission statement at Gebr. Heineman.”

“Our new pop-up store highlights Gebr. Heinemann’s close strategic partnership with the Armani brand, which continues to generate ideas and momentum for new global concepts,” says Jan Richter, Fashion, Accessories & Watches, Jewelery Purchasing Director at Gebr. Heinemann.

“We offer A|X Armani Exchange a premier space at Copenhagen Airport with high visibility and an exclusive shopping experience for travelers: in a relaxed atmosphere, they can try on and buy new looks from a brand high-end leisure products that have never been available before in a Travel Retail pop-up store.

Sustainability is central to store design

It’s not just A|X Armani Exchange fashion that Gebr. Heinemann presents in the pop-up store, which is geared towards sustainability: The entire store has been designed to be environmentally friendly. All structures and walls are made of recyclable material. The furniture is modular, so it can be combined in different ways and used again and again. Low voltage LEDs provide energy efficient lighting. In addition, the gifts with purchase, a lunch box and a water cup, are made of recycled plastic and can be reused many times.
