Four Fall 2021 Outfit Ideas You Can Wear Anywhere

Fall is officially a week away, which means now is the time to prep your wardrobe for one of the best seasons in fashion. While we can generally expect to see leather jackets and boots make their debut this time of year, there are several new trends emerging this season, aside from the jacket.

To help you get on a trendy look for the season, style expert Amy Goodman has come to share four different fall looks with Hoda & Jenna. Whether you feel like getting dressed or can’t even stand the thought of sacrificing comfort for jeans, Goodman has the pieces you’ll want in your wardrobe before the temperatures drop.

From dresses and skirts to boots and vests, read on to find the hottest looks everyone can achieve this season.

Fall outfit ideas

Over-the-knee boots + running jackets

Guess faux leather running jacket

A leather jacket is a fall staple, but this running jacket takes the look a step further with its button-down collar. It comes in four different colors that embody the earth tones of the season, so you can pair it with anything in your wardrobe to create the perfect fall look.

Max Studio ruffled crepe wrap dress

Wrap dresses are a great transitional piece, especially on cold days in the morning and hot at noon. This style is not only chic, but it’s also on sale right now for $ 40.

Journee Kaison High Ruched Boots

This statement boot has a certain edge, but it shouldn’t be in an intimidating style. Goodman recommends pairing it with a hem that ends well above the edge of the boot in order to pull it off. Since it’s warm and slimming on the leg, it’s a no-brainer for the colder months.

Shorter midi ankle boots + saturated hues

Zara Double Breasted Textured Blazer

Saturated colors are everywhere right now, and there are countless ways to style them. You can go for a monochrome look or split it up with a bold sweater like Goodman did with this look.

Zara high-neck knitted sweater

The high collar associated with a blazer gives a more polished tone to this outfit. You can pick up this style in several different colors to create tons of looks this fall.

Dark Wash Lilly The Sabrina Pink Flare Jeans

Wide leg pants are a huge trend this season and these flare jeans offer some relief from skinny styles. Plus, they’re perfect for pairing with boots.

Steve Madden Elwyn Boot

With a sleek heel and a shiny exterior, these ankle boots seal the look. Goodman went for the off-white style for a pop of color.

Sleek to the knee + neutral coat

Playful by Meredith Sinclair x Gigi Seasons Big Sky Comfortable Hooded Kimono

Pro tip: Camel-colored coats with texture (fluffy, fluffy, felt, etc.) are a must-have for the season, according to Goodman. Since this kimono is voluminous, it will enhance any look when paired with thin olive colored separate pieces.

White House Black Market Sleeveless Tank Top

Goodman says olive is the new neutral – and we’re not crazy about it. This flattering tank top is breathable for hot fall days, but it’s perfect for layering on chilly nights.

White House Black Market Comfort Stretch Slim Ankle Pants

Coordinate the tank top with these slimming pants. They offer a little bit of elasticity but are still polished enough to be worn in the office.

Dr. Scholl’s Brilliance Whiskey Boots

These boots don’t just look luxury – since they have a memory foam sockliner, they feel like it too. Goodman says their sleek look is the perfect way to polish up this look.

Cloud coat + power to the platform boots

Abercrombie + Fitch Stretch Cropped Puffer Jacket

Are you wondering what a “cloud jacket” is? Goodman says it’s the down jacket’s lightest, fluffiest cousin. This Abercrombie model is filled with recycled polyester fibers and gray duck down and is available in beige and black.

Corded Cardigan Sincerely Jules Cozy

Knitwear has been in fashion for some time, but this season it has taken the form of cable knit vests. This style from Sincerely Jules is an affordable way to keep up with the trend.

Abercrombie + Fitch Pleated Pleated Mini Skirt

Pleated skirts aren’t just for school uniforms. They have made a comeback and pair perfectly with sleeveless sweaters and long sleeve tops.

Windsor patent leather-look combat boots

These faux leather combat boots make any outfit imposing. They also have a studded sole, trendy this season.
